From Jaco:

Take the main highway South from Jaco towards Manuel Antonio/Quepos. Keep driving, and you will pass through two main towns: Hermosa, which is a small surfing town about 10 minutes away from Jaco, and Parrita, which is a busy, industrial-looking town about 45 minutes away from Jaco. Once you pass through Parrita, drive about another 15 minutes down the main road. Keep a lookout on your right for a place called "Palma Tica," as you will be turning a little bit after. Once you see the Palma Tica sign, you will drive into a little town called Damas. There should be a small sports field on your left. Drive about 1/4 mile past this, and you will see a sign with a waterfall photo that says "Quepos Hot Springs" on your right. Turn left at this sign onto a dirt road through the palm plantation. Follow this road (please be aware that it makes an "S" curve shortly after you get on it, but do not get off on any side roads) through the palms until you get to an intersection. In front of you should be a town with a soccer field to the left. Keep going forward on the main road all the way through the town. It is several miles long, so don't worry about going too far! Once you get to the end of the town, the road will fork in front of a small, blue Catholic church. Stay to the right, and drive another 1 1/2 miles. You should be parallel to a river, which you will be right next to after about a mile or so. After 1 1/2 miles, you should see on your right a large, wooden gated area with a suspension bridge. The gate will be open, and the suspension bridge will have a sign that says MidWorld above it. Drive across it (don't worry--it's totally safe!), and on the other side you will see on your right several buildings, one with a green door, one with a red roof, and several others with thatched roofs. This is the MidWorld base camp.

From Dominical/Quepos:

Take the main highway North from Manuel Antonio/Quepos towards Jaco. About 1 mile from the Quepos turnoff (across from a Maxi Pali and two MidWorld billboards), you will pass over a bridge and through the town of Paquita (look for a small rodeo arena and restaurant “Rancho Leon” on your right). Drive for about another 2 miles, until you see a green mileage sign. Drive about 1/4 mile past this, and you will see a sign with a waterfall photo that says "Quepos Hot Springs" on your left. Turn right at this sign onto a dirt road through the palm plantation.
